The Anatomy of a High-Converting Landing Page
A breakdown of the structural decisions — not the visual ones — that actually move a visitor from curious to committed.
Structure Before Style
A high-converting page and a beautiful page are not the same project, even though they often look similar. Conversion comes from sequencing: proof before the ask, clarity before persuasion, and never more than one primary call to action fighting for attention at a time.
Start by listing every objection a visitor could have — price, trust, fit, timing — then place content on the page in the order those objections would actually come up. That order is your layout, before a single pixel gets styled.
The Fold Is a Myth, the First Impression Isn’t
Visitors don’t stop scrolling at some magic pixel line, but they do decide within seconds whether the page is worth their attention. That first section has one job: prove the page understands what they need, clearly enough that scrolling feels worth it.
